Joseliz Perez is an undergraduate Mechanical Engineering student from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayagüez. She is a member of the UPRM NASA RASC-AL team since 2019 where she had worked under the Design subdivision distinguishing herself by creating 3D animations to illustrate the team’s space mission concepts. In addition, Joseliz has also worked at SpaceTREx Laboratory and is currently working at NASA as a simulation engineering intern for the ISRU regolith transport project. Although she is pursuing an engineering degree, she hasn't let her passion for art behind and aspires to combine both fields in her future career.
