Aidan Guerra
Aidan Guerra is a rising fourth-year undergraduate at the University of California, Davis, double majoring in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. He is an undergraduate researcher in the Bioastronautics and eXploration Systems Laboratory, where he is studying space radiation transport and passive shielding using HZETRN to model astronaut exposure to ionizing radiation. Aidan’s previous aerospace experience includes three internships at NASA, spanning aeronautics research at NASA Ames Research Center and technology transitions at NASA Headquarters. Outside of academics, he is a long-distance runner and amateur astrophotographer, capturing images of the night sky with his automated telescope rig.
