Oscar de Leon is an undergraduate student at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) studying Mechanical Engineering. His pursuit of space exploration increased exponentially when he moved from his home country, Mexico, 3 years ago. Currently, he is working on his senior design project, which is a thrust vector control model rocket (non-combustion) for educational purposes. Besides this project, he is also working on a project which is a liquid propellant 3D printed rocket engine.
On his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, reading about philosophy, and watching sports, especially Formula 1.
