Rashid Neighbors has over 16 years of experience in the Satellite Communications field and has spent over 10 years as a Civilian with the Department of Navy at Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command. His career with DOD covered many areas to include Engineering, Fleet Support, Program Management and Acquisition. While at SPAWAR he led efforts to award follow on contracts for the Unit and Force Level Variants of the Commercial Broadband Satellite Program within the Communications Program Office at PEO C4I. He also led fielding and modernization efforts for the Navy Multiband Terminal Program. In January of 2015, Mr. Neighbors joined UltiSat as the Business Development Manager of US Government Sales. He assisted in the company's DoD and Federal Civilian areas, as well as business development initiatives. Mr. Neighbors also served in a Program Management role for many of the US Government contracts at UltiSat. In March of 2017, he joined SES Government Solutions as a Senior Account Director and assumed the role of VP Mobility Solutions in June 2020. 

 In a volunteer capacity, Mr. Neighbors served on the board of Space & Satellite Professionals International – Mid Atlantic from June 2017 until November 2020. His roles included scholarship committee chairman and Vice President. As the Scholarship Committee chair he was responsible for maintaining existing University relationships and growing new relationships. 

Mr. Neighbors has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of San Diego.
