Flor Gordivas is a Software Technical Lead at Lockheed Martin Space in Boulder for the Spaces Based Infrared System (SBIRS) ground system. She graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with an Electrical and Computer Engineering B.S. and a minor in Computer Science. Prior to graduating, she interned at Textron Aviation Cessna working on automating testing for the Citation Longitude aircraft.

Her time at CU Boulder was split between academics, the Colorado Space Grant Consortium (COSGC), and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers/Latinos in Science and Engineering (SHPE/MAES). At the COSGC she worked multiple space related student research payloads that launched out of Wallop’s Flight Facility in Virginia. Flor was the secretary, president and then the Regional Student Representative for CU Boulder MAES student chapter where she enjoyed supporting her community through volunteer project as well as growing the resources available to Latinx engineers.

Flor Gordivas is the daughter of two immigrant parents and is a first-generation middle school, high school, and college graduate. Her hobbies include helping her family, playing soccer, and Latin dancing.
