Aakash Shah is an aerospace engineering student entering his junior year at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is involved with his university's SEDS chapter, working on the hybrid propulsion team, which aims to develop a fully functional 4kN hybrid rocket engine. He is also involved with a research group on campus, specializing in numerical methods to simulate unsteady fluid flow. This summer he will be working at Astra in Alameda, California, as part of the propulsion team. In his free time, Aakash likes to play cards and is an avid fan of premier league soccer!
