Affan Nazeer is a rising first-year masters student at Purdue University in Aeronautical and Astronautical engineering, specializing in both propulsion and astrodynamics. As a first generation American, he cultivated his interest for space stargazing in remote Utah deserts. Now in college, Affan researches solid propellant combustion and detonation physics at Zucrow Laboratories. Along with this, he competed in Purdue Space Program’s NASA USLI team as a payload engineer. In his free time, he enjoys mountaineering, woodworking, and photography. He one day hopes to work on in-space propulsion systems or space telescopes.
