Vaibhavi is a sophomore at Georgetown University from Mississippi majoring in Science, Technology, and International Affairs as well as a minor in Russian. On campus, she is involved in the Astronomical Society and the Space Initiative, as well as a consulting club focused on supporting DC nonprofits. Outside of those clubs, she is on Guzaarish, Georgetown's competitive Bollywood dance team specializing in styles ranging from Bhangra to South Indian to Hip Hop. In her free time, she enjoys reading science fiction novels, playing with her dog, and taking yoga classes around the DC area.

Why is aerospace community outreach and engagement important to you?

I grew up in a place where STEM engagement was lackluster; through my community engagement project I hope to inspire younger communities.
