Brianna Clark is a 3rd-year Honors Aerospace Engineering student with a minor in Computer Science at CSU Long Beach. Her passion for aerospace is rooted in liquid propulsion systems, as well as the design, implementation and testing of rocket engines. She is an avid member of her campus's Experimental Sounding Rocketry Association and Beach Launch Team. Brianna has previous solid motor rocketry experience as the payload mechanical lead for Long Beach Rocketry in the University Student Launch Initiative and enjoys hobbyist rocketry. Currently, she is conducting research in computational fluid dynamics with simulation modeling and in solid fuel combustion design and experimentation.
Why is aerospace community outreach and engagement important to you?
As a Latina in STEM from a low-income community, I have navigated my early career with limited opportunities. Considering this, I intimately recognize the transformative power of outreach and engagement in my community and in the aerospace sector.
