Sirus Baca, a rising sophomore at Columbia University, has a passion for engineering, currently majoring in Mechanical Engineering, he plans to enter the aerospace sector post-graduation. During his freshman year he has became involved with Columbia’s Formula SAE Club, serving as a team member on the powertrain subteam. Hailing from a Native American background in rural Arizona, Sirus brings a unique perspective to his academic and extracurricular pursuits. In his free time he likes building various projects and spending time outdoors. This summer he will be interning with The Aerospace Corporation at their headquarters located in El Segundo, California.
