Grace Kim is a rising junior studying Mechanical Engineering and Government in the Data Sciences track at Harvard University. Currently, she is working as the chief engineer of the Harvard Satellite team, leading several subteams in the design and creation of a 2U CubeSat hoping to test a payload of a compact power storage mechanism utilizing soft robotics, shape memory alloys, and flexible solar panels. Outside of aerospace, Grace currently is working as a Data Scientist Community Fellow at Code for America, working with the City of Fort Collins Colorado to support the development of web application to increase digital access to online applications for reduced municipal broadband within the city.
