Curtis Iwata is a systems engineer and hiring manager at The Aerospace Corporation in the Modeling & Simulation Department. He leads research and development projects in Digital Engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering. He co-founded the Aerospace Career Development Club to help fellow new hires and aspiring leaders to network and develop their skills. He is also the co-founder of Spaceport LA, which aims to build a community of Angelenos who love space, and he serves on the board of the Space Frontier Foundation to enable space settlement through the power of industry and commerce. Curtis received his PhD from the Georgia Institute of Technology, MS from the International Space University, and BS from UC Irvine.
