Juan Ruiz is an Embedded Software Engineer at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. Juan holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and minors in Mathematics and Spanish from the University of North Texas (UNT). During his time in college, he interned at NASA, The U.S. Department of Energy, and iOLAP. Juan Co-Founded UNT Robotics and was the Vice President (2018 - 2019) and President (2019 - 2020). Juan was also the Team Lead (2018 - 2019) and Hardware Lead (2019 - 2020) for the UNT Augmented Reality Interface System (A.R.I.S.) Team in charge of creating the next generation of spacesuits for NASA. Juan’s focus is on Embedded Systems Design, but he has a strong passion for Aeronautics, Robotics, Automation, and IoT.
